Controlled inflammation

In scar healing, controlled inflammation is another critical factor in the management of the scar. Too much inflammation will cause excessive immature collagen deposition and too little inflammation will delay the healing process thus delaying collagen maturation. Oleuropein, is a pure, natural phenolic olive leaf extract which has an ibuprofen-like activity on the scar tissue.
